The Boys‘ showrunner Eric Kripke has said Gen V will react and continue building on events introduced during the original show’s third season. Here’s what Kripke told Deadline:There’s definitely crossover, and we’re doing our best to design a universe that sees some of the issues and storylines in Season 3 hand off to the first season in Varsity (the previous working title of the show). Like there’s a presidential campaign happening in the background of that season, and there’s certain things that are happening at that school that are both in reaction to Season 3 of The Boys. London Thor and Derek Luh both play the college supe Jordan Li, who can change between man and woman forms. Patrick Schwarzenegger is Luke Riordan a.k.a. Golden Boy, a Godolkin senior set to be in the Seven. Maddie Phillips portrays Luke’s girlfriend Cate Dunlap, a junior who can encourage people to do as she wishes with the touch of her hands. This is shocking to a few fans who assumed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan would portray the character in The Boys season four. The plot thickens, indeed. Speaking of The Boys, actors Jessie T. Lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn't make sense." The Gen V cast separately shared a statement. "Our hearts are with Chance's loved ones as we grieve this shocking loss," they wrote. "We will remember the special moments we had together, his infectious smile that could light up any room, his warm hugs, and the authenticity he carried with him always." When is Gen V Season 2 coming out?It will be a while before Gen V returns, as production kicked off in May. Season 2 could possibly take roughly a year and a half to release, if we use Season 1's production timeline as a reference. Meanwhile, The Boys Season 4 will premiere June 13 on Prime Video. What happened in the finale of Gen V Season 1? Karl Urban, Gen V Prime VideoMarie and her friends took a big L in the last episode of Gen V Season 1. After being attacked by Homelander (Antony Starr) himself — who incorrectly believed Marie was the instigator of the campus attack — she woke up to find herself stuck in a room alongside Jordan (London Thor and Derek Luh), Emma (Lizze Broadway), and Andre. The only good thing to come from the finale for Marie is arguably discovering a new way to use her power, as seen by her unintentionally blowing up Cate's (Maddie Phillips) hand. "What I think we should know about Marie is Marie has not, and Cardosa (Marcos Pigossi) says this before he's killed, she does not know the full extent of her power," showrunner Michele Fazekas told TV Guide. "And I think we don't either." There is also a very significant mid-credits scene in Gen V's finale, thanks to a cameo by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban). He showed up in the Woods, the secret lab tucked under Godolkin University where Dean Indira Shetty (Shelley Conn) and Dr. Cardosa worked to create a virus that would harm supes. They found success, and Butcher's appearance suggests that getting a hold of this virus may be key in his fight against Vought in The Boys.ALSO READ: Gen V showrunner breaks down the deadly Season 1 finale and those wild cameosHow to watch Gen VThe first season of Gen V is available to stream now on Prime Video.. In The Boys universe, Compound V babies are growing up and going to college in their own live-action spinoff, Gen V. How will the series connect to the original show? What can we expect from a Vought-led school of hero higher learning? Well, we can’t say for sure yet. Prime VideoHere’s everything we know about Gen V so far. Title The title of this The Boys spinoff is Gen V. Gen V‘s Plot Here’s the initial Gen V synopsis from Prime Video and Sony: Set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games—with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.Gen V will take place at Godolkin University (and within its “School of Crimefighting”), an exclusive university of higher supe learning. The series will borrow from The Boys comic, specifically from the “We Gotta Go Now” arc. This Gen V trailer reveals that Victoria Neuman, Ashely, and Adam Bourke will appear alongside these new characters. And Marie, whom we previously saw a photo of on The Boys in a Red River Institute file (more on that later), is the main character. Love that for her… or maybe not. And, yes, there will be puppets. We also know what The Boys‘ spinoff’s college student union and dorm rooms will look like. Gen V‘s setting is looking pretty clean… for now. Prime VideoPrime VideoWe also have quite a few new photos of all the characters we will see in Gen V. They are also remarkably clean for now. Well, except poor Andre. Click To View Gallery Prime Video Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, speaking with Empire, promise there are some shocking scenes to come. Rogen notes, “Gen V has some really crazy shit in it. The fact that they’re in college, they’re a little younger, makes it more shocking, maybe.” And more widely, Rogen offers this insight into creating The Boys‘ worlds. “In general, if you’re making an R-rated thing, they let you do whatever the fuck you want, unless there’s some real legal thing that they think you might be bumping against… With The Boys, maybe it requires one extra five-minutes phone call, where they’re like, ‘Really?’, and you’re like, ‘Really.’ There are other things you’re on hours of phone calls about that are so much less interesting than that.”Gen V‘s Connections Within The Boys Universe The Boys Presents: Diabolical‘s second episode introduced the Red River Institute. It’s a group home for abandoned and parentless super-powered children. But the animated series (with the exception of the final episode) is not canon. The Boys season three made Red River canon when Hughie discovered that congresswoman Victoria Neuman was a secret Supe named Nadia. She grew up at the not-so-great Red River Institute after accidentally killing

The company was independently owned by one of Vought's superheroes: Robert Vernon, better known as Tek Knight, which he had inherited full control of after the death of his two parents and it's deeply involved in playing key role of their grand plan of taking over the US government by using their existing prison system to set up a large-scale series of internment camps for political opponents and dissents from across the country.Hometeamers: A political movement consisting of the fans and supporters of Homelander.U.S. Federal Government: The American government has come to serve as one of Vought's main clients as they have become a recognized private military contractor outsourcing their licenced superheroes for the purposes of national defence acting in interests of the military-industrial complex following the congressional approval of the recently introduced legislative bill allowing supes to be integrated into the armed forces and operate in active combat warzones. After the most recent, divisive presidential election and the constitutional coup that took place in its aftermath, Vought International has effectively seized power and taken full control of the U.S. government and their private army of deputized superheroes have been fully authorized after a national declaration of martial law to supress any dissent with complete impunity and take care of any subversive elements like Starlighters deemed to represent a major threat to national security by any means necessary.Former Associates[]Liquid
