It sounds and feels quality.Ash is really good, but the GUI feels laggy and unresponsive, which is a continual issue with Acustica plugins.I also picked up KClip3 recently, and it seems good too, but I need to test it more. The multi-band on Kclip3 seems interesting, but it saturates a lot more obviously than I expected. And if you look at the transfer curves, they are basically identical. The Modern Gold curve is a bit less 'aggressive' than that of StandardCLIP, but they're almost identical (we're talking 0.1 or 0.2dB difference at most).To try it yourself, set for example Gold to Classic, set the processing at maximum 6.00dB, switch off Unity, and disable everything else; and in StandardCLIP, go for the Soft Clip Pro mode and set it to 50% (right-click the fader in order to set the value precisely). The two basically null to the ear.Same for 3.00dB Gold Classic and 25% Soft Clip Pro. And everything other value (even though it would be more difficult to null because of the not-so-precise fader in StandardCLIP).Use a sample rate > 192k and disable oversampling in StandardCLIP, in order to eliminate as much as possible the OS algorithm discrepancy that there is between the 2 plugins.Lots of people have raved about the Gold processing and would buy it as a single plugin, but there you go, it's already available!I'm not getting the whole fuss TBH.
